1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and SportsRally B.V. (“SportsRally”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you access or use our website, mobile apps, and related services (the “Platform”).
By registering or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SportsRally.
2. What SportsRally provides
SportsRally is a sports marketplace for badminton and padel in the Netherlands. We help:
- Athletes find coaches, book sessions, join open games, and view performance feedback;
- Coaches publish availability, manage bookings, upload session feedback, and receive payouts;
- Facility owners list venues and courts and manage staff access.
SportsRally is an intermediary. Coaches and facilities are independent providers — we are not their employer and do not guarantee session quality, venue conditions, or coaching outcomes.
3. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity under your account.
- One person may hold multiple roles (e.g. athlete and coach) on a single account where the Platform allows it.
- Coaches and facility owners who receive payouts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Additional identity verification may be required by Stripe.
4. Bookings & cancellations
How bookings work
- Athletes request sessions with coaches or courts during published availability.
- Coaches or facilities approve or reject requests through the Platform workflow.
- A booking is confirmed when required parties accept and payment is secured (see §5).
Session dossiers
Coaches and athletes may record session plans, summaries, and reflections in a shared dossier. Coaches may also keep private notes visible only to themselves — athletes can request access to personal data about themselves under our Privacy Policy.
Cancellation policies
Each coach sets a cancellation policy (e.g. flexible 24-hour). The applicable policy is shown before you confirm. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges per that policy.
Open games
Hosts create open games for others to join. Participants must honour agreed times and skill levels. We may remove abusive listings or accounts.
5. Payments & payouts
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying through SportsRally you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.
- Athlete payments for coach sessions are held in escrow until the session completes or funds are released per our booking rules.
- Coaches and facility owners receive payouts to their connected Stripe account, minus platform fees shown at checkout or in payout records.
- Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds follow the cancellation policy and our dispute process.
6. AI & Performance DNA
- Coaches may upload voice notes, text, or video clips linked to a session. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share that content (including consent from anyone identifiable in a clip).
- Uploads are analysed by Google Vertex AI (Gemini) in the EU. Raw files are automatically deleted from storage after 90 days; derived spider charts remain while your account is active.
- AI outputs are informational only — not medical advice, certification, or a guarantee of improvement.
- You grant SportsRally a licence to store, process, and display uploads and AI results as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, discriminate against, or endanger other users;
- post false reviews, manipulate ratings, or impersonate others;
- circumvent Platform payments for bookings initiated on SportsRally;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Platform;
- upload illegal content or material that infringes third-party rights;
- use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Your content & our licence
You retain ownership of content you submit (profile text, photos, reviews, uploads). You grant SportsRally a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Platform — including showing public coach profiles and running the AI feedback pipeline.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. SportsRally intellectual property
The SportsRally name, logo, software, and design are owned by SportsRally B.V. or its licensors. You may not copy or use our branding without written permission.
10. Third-party services
The Platform integrates with:
- Stripe — payments and payouts;
- Google Cloud / Vertex AI — hosting and AI analysis;
- Firebase, Resend, Twilio — push, email, and SMS notifications (as configured);
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim — optional reverse geocoding when you pick a location.
Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Coaching outcomes and AI insights are not guaranteed.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsRally B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid to SportsRally in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) €100 — except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
13. Suspension & termination
- You may close your account via profile settings. Deletion is immediate for sign-in; cross-service data purge runs after a 30-day grace period (see our Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or platform safety.
- Provisions that should survive termination (payments owed, liability limits, governing law) continue to apply.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. EEA consumers may rely on mandatory protections in their country of residence. Raise disputes first with support@matchbase.nl.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless you delete your account.
