AI Assistant

A conversational assistant that books coaches and courts, finds open games, reviews your performance, and helps coaches manage requests — in plain language.

The MatchBase Assistant lets you use the app by chatting. Ask it in everyday language — "Vind een badmintoncoach in Amsterdam voor morgenavond" — and it finds what you need, shows you the options, and books it for you. It only ever does things you could already do yourself, and it always asks you to confirm before anything is booked or changed.

What you can ask

The assistant adapts to who you are — an athlete, a coach, and a facility owner each get different things.

You ask…The assistant…
"Find a badminton coach near me"Shows a list of coaches to pick from
"Book the 18:00 slot with Marco"Shows the open times, then a confirmation
"Show my upcoming sessions"Lists your sessions
"How is my game improving?"Summarises your Performance DNA
"Any open games this week?"Finds games near you at your level
(coach) "Show my pending requests"Opens your approval list
(coach) "Approve this request"Confirms, then approves it
(coach) "Leave feedback: great footwork"Adds your feedback to the session

Booking by chat

  1. You ask. "Boek een badmintonles met een coach in Amsterdam."
  2. Pick a time. The assistant shows the coach's open slots — only times that are genuinely free.
  3. Confirm. Before anything happens, it shows you the coach, time, place, and price. Nothing is booked until you tap confirm.
  4. Pay & done. On confirm it creates the request and takes you to secure payment, just like booking the normal way.

Always in your control

  • Nothing happens without you. Every booking, approval, rejection, or piece of feedback needs your confirmation first.
  • No extra powers. The assistant can only do what your account can already do — a coach is never offered "book a session", an athlete never sees "approve".
  • You can see what it's doing. It tells you each step as it works ("Searching coaches near you…") and replies as it goes.

The assistant understands plain Dutch and English, so just type the way you'd talk.
